We got a call from a representative of the company calling to bill us for advertising services (which we do not use). They asked for our office manager (me) by name. They asked for a credit card payment over the phone and incentivized doing so with reduced fees if done then. I asked them to bill our email address and they sent a well-made invoice. I looked up their website and they had a business profile set up for our business, complete with hours, location, phone number, photographs, and other information gathered from our public website and social media pages. I could tell it was a Wordpress website because of the icon on the open tab. This was a red flag. The website was very well made, professional and accessible. They had a personalized email address. I only knew it was a scam because we never pay for advertising or business listing. This is a very convincing scam. I've attached a copy of the invoice they sent us.
