Offers grant money but requires an upfront payment. Grant size was based on the size of the up front payment.. Did not send any to them.

"They are a community based Development Block Grant program from the US FED trust fund." They say they are helping the communities with cash, workers, non workers, retired, etc. I got mine for $150,000 but moreover I paid for the case file and tax fees before my winning money was delivered to me at my door step.

They say they are the CDBG. Their phone number is 1(860)341-5355. They ask your address phone number sex if you’re married. They have 3 packages you can choose from. Pay $1,000.00 for a grant of $80,000.00 etc. they want you to go to the store and purchase a card and activate it with the money on it. I didn’t reply to the amount of grant I want, I told them I don’t have any money. They said the would deliver within 48 hours to my home address and then I can get the money card.

Then they sent me this message. Now we want to know if we have the right person and we want you to know that this is 100% real and legitimate

To get your identity confirmed by the federal attorney general. Well I’m blocking them now. This really told me it was a scam.

A scammer used the identity of a friend of mine on Facebook. We communicated through Private instant messaging. I was informed my name was on a beneficiary list of grants with CDBG and I should call 217. 753-6666 to see how to o get my money.

James Williams used Barbara C******** 's Facebook page to offer me assistance with community development grant money. Barbara C******** is a member of my church so I thought it was legitimate. He took my personal information without disclosing money amount being offered. Once he said I was excepted into program he told me to send him $500.00 to receive $65.000.00 dollars. That's when I told him I have to contact ScamPulse.com OFFICE in the morning because they were closed. I asked him for his business phone number and he gave me 406 283 0999. He call me back the next day and my caller ID identified his phone number to be a Suspicious Caller. My personal information has been exposed but no money was exchanged. Please report him and advise me what to do next.

Hacked my friends Facebook account and messaged me about applying for a grant. Started to then realized it wasn't my friend and stopped applying before I gave out too much information.

sending me messages and text thru a friend on facebook . state agent name Barbara Walker and a 2nd agent James Micheal wanted $500. 00 for agrant and alsotexting my phone. tryed to call but noanswer of course. Toldhim he was ascammer and wanted report his number 774-369-0625 ndisstillsendingmefacebookmesssages.

A friend on Messenger said I should try for a grant to help me with the caregiving of my mom. She shared the link . the message and link were all fake ! I realized it when they contacted me so I called her and she said she had not messages me! I then stopped all communication.
