Made me believe this was something I already purchased

Received notice in mail and on phone saying my credit card didn’t go through and I needed to call to continue service. We received the “Voucher” for $199 off the “down payment”. My husband thinking our coverage was being cancelled, gave the person our credit card. A month later, we received a call saying our credit card didn’t “going through”. It was all a scam to get people to think they are CONTINUING a service. We were tricked into signing up.

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

Receive check in mail stating that my property's home warranty may be expiring or may have already expired. The check was a "Registration Fee Voucher" in the amount of $199.00.

The problems I noticed were: 1) no barcodes or bank information listed, 2) Lender info was shown as Well Fargo (which is incorrect), 3) they had a property id that they created, 4) a response was requested in 7 days.
