Last May, I responded to an online offer for free sample of CBD organics gummies, supposedly a company Kevin Costner was involved in. It was so long ago, I don't remember how it came to my attention; it may have been a pop-up.The offer was for free 300 mg sample of Canna organic gummies, providing shipping was paid. ( about $6.00). I received the product once - and that was it. I got a "collections" phone call from them about 2 months ago and hung up because I didn't remember the initial order and thought it was a scam. Today ( nearly a year later) I received a 2nd phone call saying I was in collection with them, that I should have read the small print and that I had to cancel within 2 weeks of initial response or I was on the hook. They told me it was the "escalation department," and that I owed them money. The woman was extremely rude and aggressive , continued to speak over me, and threatening. I have never heard from this company by email or mail since I initially responded more than a year ago - no additional product has been received either. I'm still not sure what they are saying I owe them for, since I only received the initial offer of 300 mg and nothing more. A very upsetting situation.Since I have only received phone calls and no other type of communication, I can't really follow up or locate them. I also don't remember how I initially paid for the shipping for the "free" sample, and am now concerned they have been billing me.
