Somebody I know from Facebook asked to join me on Messenger. She started out asking me what I had been up to. Just a brief message back and forth. Next day she ask if have heard about the cfda program going on? I asked what is that ? She replied, : It is the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance program. I won $155,000 from them and I saw your name on the winners list when I had to sign for the winning money at my doorstep, did you hear from them at all?" I answered no! Did they give you the money? Did you sign up for something? She said, " Oh really? I got my award from them already, they told me it is not a loan and I don't have to pay it back. Maybe you should get a hold of them?" I said well, maybe so. She said, "you can contact the delivery agent at his number 248 923 0664, let him know you are ready to claim your winning money immediately. I said, Did you give them money? Did they give you cash? It doesn't sound legit to me. Too good to be true? She said, "I got my winning money in cash and they told me I don't have to pay it back. I thanked her for the heads up and researched it to be scam. There were a few emojis selected and that was it.
