I applied through Cashloaner.ca website for a large loan from 10-20000. I was asked for my name , email, and SIN number, and phone contact number. Days later a guy by name of Shannon called" you applied online for and after extensive search we have found a lender, but required an insurance cost to ensure if anything happens to me, job wise or incident. he asked for two different amounts $700 and $1900. I sd ok I like a contract, and need some time to come up with the lower cost of $700. after a week and couple days I got the money together. I called him back he at first chuckled saying oh did I still want the loan. I sd yes if still possible. I then asked for a contract of who was lending me the money and why I was sending the cash upfront. I work in a lending industry, oh foolish am I. He sent a document by email, and then text me the banking information. I deposited the money, he called back hours later and asked for the higher amount, but his manager sd they will cover $500 of the $1200 more they wanted or will refund the money, but I had to wait until Monday as it was then after banking hours. I asked for refund and need the money back as its my bill money and he stated he will call me Monday. I am waiting. I tried to call but that number today is unavailable at the moment. I want people to be aware and not so naïve. and if my funds are not returned then it is fraud.
