I was trying to get a loan to pay for my car repairs… I asked for 1,000 and the guy asked me if I needed more I told him no that 1,000 was a big help. He texted me the form to fill out and I reply but changed my mind and they of him to delete my information. The next thing I know he was telling me to check my account and that my bank account has to be verified so he told me he will initiate my loan once funds are verified in my account and he is able to receive it back! So he asked me to cashapp or go to Walmart and do a wire transfer. I told him that this is too much for a loan and that I did not have a way to Walmart…that is when he asked if w could do cashapp and send back the verification money to him then…I stated that this does not make sense because if he had only needed to verify my bank account it does not take putting in over 2,000 to do that and he said that was the amount his bank sent over and that it will not effect my account in any way, but as w know now it did and that’s because he deposited a check not funds into my account! My bank sent me a text and close down my account, but not before I sent him the 2514.98 back! I called him and he was not aware of my knowledge of his betrayal and lies! I told him that my account was locked due to him depositing a check and not funds and he promised that he would fix it yesterday (6/29/2023) and as of today it is not fixed nor have I gotten my loan!
