I was contacted by this company who said I qualify for a loan from an application I filled out online. I request $4000. I was told in order to verify my account they would deposit money into my account in order to show that they knew the payment would be returned, I would have to go to a Walmart and purchase a gift card and verify the numbers (I did this twice, when they asked me to do it a 3rd time, I got real suspicious). SCAM! I did this anticipating my qualified loan funds would be deposited. My bank notified me and told me the deposits were fraudulent and now I am in the whole $7000. This could potentially have me in trouble with law enforcement and damage my standing with my bank of over 20 years.
