Received a strange email from an "attorney" addressed to my husband at our correct mailing and email address. It indicated a warrant was being issued for failure to pay a debt. It requested a minimum payment of $600 for a total amount outstanding of $1210.86. No phone number or website was listed, just an email and it demanded we email back to the address to get the payment mode. It said if we failed to respond in the next 4 hours, they would register the case in court.

We received a notice informing us that we had an outstanding balance. We were instructed that a minimum payment was required the same day to keep us from having a legal case brought against us. We were to contact the email listed - a gmail account - to arrange payment.
