Applied for job on linkedin sent resume then was contacted by Alfred Chapple UpTop Digital Media and redirected to a Cassandra Valdetaro UpTop Digital Media. When I started asking questions about why the names on the email was different, and website, phone number didn't work . I was directed to HR whose name was said to be Tony who made all sorts of reason that didn't sound right I asked him if he was in SD and he said yes. then asked why does the information about the company doesn't match or we are re-vamping the business . Then was told I would be sent a check VIA EMAIL in the amount of $7,014.00, to deposit and then they would send me computer equipment to purchased with said check from their vendor. Hold the phones.. I went by the office that is listed in downtown San Diego, to see what was going and of course no uptop digital media company was NOT listed on any office directory in the building at 750 B St #1650, San Diego, CA 92101, nor did the phone or web site work. I then contacted them via email and decline any job offers and told them to acknowledge receipt and nothing else form them since. So I am reporting this so you all at least know about it.T These are the email address and phone number used:[email protected] and [email protected] and [email protected]; 1/205/476/2705.
