I got a debt collection call from Carter Michaels and Associates. They wanted me to pay $1200 by prepaid card, or my debit account. The call I got on the landline, was from a man with a different kind of voice, but spoke English. He said he could go to my place of employment and speak to my supervisor. Then I spoke to a woman, Michelle, she wanted paid right now. She said I could pay with my checking account or prepaid Mastercard or Visa. I gave her my email address after she threatened to come to my home. She emailed me a settlement letter from [email protected] signed by Jillian Marino.
