Carrnegie Watches Reports & Reviews (19)

I bought 2 of their watches over 2 months ago for my nephew who has a brain tumor. Now the watches are no longer available. Tried texting and emailing them no response. I am livid. I am ready to sue these robbers but how? [censored]! Someone needs to crack down on this company and arrest them ALL for taking advantage of all us!

I ordered 7 watches from these thieves. it only cost me about 45$ but they said because they are a small company it would take a while to get the order. I have contacted them several times an have neevr hear back from anyone at all ever.

They need to be held to account for this and I will not give up until i either get my money or the watches.

If you have any info on how i can fix this, please email me at [email protected].

Damn thieves.

Saw an Instagram advertisement about watches for sale. Business was closing and was cutting down inventory stock prices and shown watches at $6 and less (from retail of $40). Googling their location shows a place of a coffee shop in a strip mall which is most suspicious.

Their support emails were immediately removed (no domain available and can't pass message appears when attempting to email the support team) after 2-3 weeks after their final sale date of around early June. Any attempts to contact any support teams will fail.

I spent about $45 buying a couple watches ordered from May 18. It is now August 12. Many months have passed and no emails have been received. I just got a shipping notification but it was highly a fake shipping tracking identifier.

After research the only way to view their original website before removing all their domains and evidence is: https://carrnegie-watches.myshopify.com/ (their original website: http://carrnegiewatches.com/) have been taken down).

I ordered 2 watches from Carrnegie via Facebook on May 4, 2021. I sent an email to them on June 10. I received a response back stating that my order would be treated as urgent since it did not ship within the estimated window of 1-3 weeks. The letter stated I would receive an email notification with a tracking number as soon as my watches ship. I sent an additional 3 more emails when I still heard or received nothing about my purchases. I'm reporting this to the BBB and Im still trying to contact them about my watches.

I received a email on May 12 from CARRNEGIE WATCHES about a 'GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SALE". The watches and service seemed OK so I checked on them and found them to be rather reputable except for a couple of small complaints. I placed an order for 18 watches for $120.00 (GOOD DEAL, RIGHT?) They kept coming up with "good deals" and I kept buying to the tune of 7 orders and $433.00. They told me that there was a backlog in their shipping because of the onslaught of unpredicted orders. It would be 1 - 3 weeks delivery..NO PROBLEM, RIGHT?..After about a month I did a follow up on the first order and they told me that it was in processing as we spoke. HEY, THAT'S GREAT, RIGHT?:..In one of their earlier emails they told me the orders were "MONEY BACK GUARANTEED"..SOUNDS GREAT, RIGHT? A a few weeks and no watches or information about why I had not received any watches I sent them an email CANCELLING all my orders. They replied with "If you withdraw your cancellations we will give you a $86.00 credit against your orders. I said OK. I did not receive the $86.00 and time passed..NO CREDIT, NO WATCHES, LESS INFORMATION. I kept send emails asking about my orders. After some time they send me another offer if I would not cancel..this time it was $170.00 CREDIT. I refused that credit and stayed with my CANCELLATION OF ALL ORDERS. In a few days I got an email with PROOF OF SHIPMENT of one of the orders. SOUNDING PRETTY GOOD, NOW..huh? I received the watches and everything seemed to be OK, except 1 watch was smashed. I sent them an email and explained the problem and asked for credit for the breakage. (I never heard anything about that breakage). Over some time I received partial shipments on orders. Some orders were finally completed with minor damage or features not working, mainly calendards,. I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT THE VERY FIRST ORDER (18 watches - $120.00). I mentioned that order in every email I sent them, and believe me, I sent a bunch of emails. It is now August 10..My first order was dated May 13..that is 3 months since my first order. I now cannot contact these clowns. Their email address is no longer any good; their website is unreachable, the telephone is an answering machine and they owe me money or watches or SOMETHING. I've been in the watch business for over 20 years and I have never had a business do me like this. I will not let it go because I do not like to be CHEATED...iF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THESE PEOPLE, PLEASE SEND IT TO ME. at [email protected] LUCK..

This is exactly what happened to my sisters & I! If any extra info please forward to me as well. [email protected].

I made an online purchase with this company on May 12, 2021. I kept in constant contact with this company via email periodically. They promised me that they would mail my order ASAP. I have not received my order and I purchased it almost 3 months ago.

I would blur out your shipping address and order number. For security reasons.

I made a purchase with this company on May 12, 2021 and I have not received my purchase!

I placed an order May 25th and have yet to receive shipping confirmation. It is now August 4th and still haven't received the shipment or a shipment notification for the order.

Email to support now sends back mailer-daemon from Google. Website is down with no way to contact the company. Giant scam. I will be disputing charges and may look into a class action suit.

I Made a purchase on May 23rd. I spent about $108 and bought so many watches. Till now the company didn't deliver even one watch. Initially they said, they are going to deliver between 1-3 weeks.
They cheated me. Earlier they used to reply to the email saying that, your shipping will be processed soon, but I have never got them. Now a days the emails are bouncing. Could you please tell me how to get my money back? Thanks in advance.

If you used a credit card I would recommend a charge-back ASAP before 180 days passed from the time you ordered (May 23rd).

In May, 2021 I came across this company in a Facebook ad. I googled them and saw a couple of pretty good reviews. I went ahead and ordered ten watches, thinking of giving some away as stocking stuffers, etc. Three weeks went by and I had not received a shipment confirmation. I sent them an email and got a reply stating that it was delayed. Then I received a mass email on June 11 stating that a parts shipment had been delayed by two weeks. I followed up with more emails in June and July, but after the mass email, they ghosted me.

On May 20 2021 I purchased five watches off of the Carrnegie watches website. I was told it will take three weeks before I receive my merchandise. June 25 2021 came and nothing. I emailed them and two weeks later I received an email stating that they were backed up because their shipper was having issues getting the merchandise out. I emailed s few days later and was told that they were still working in my order and that it should be ready for shipment in a few days. Email again and I get an email message from my email provider stating that their address no longer exist.

I had come across Carrnegie Watches in mid-May (perhaps May 15th) through a message from a trusted friend on Instagram. I was amazed by the low prices and the seemingly realistic reason that they were having a going out of business sale. I had read Google reviews of their company that stated they were legit, so I went through their website and picked out a variety of watches I liked. I had placed two separate orders in order to qualify for their Premier Watch discount (qualified for one Premier per order). Their order confirmation page stated that typical shipments take 1-3 business weeks and that I would receive a notification email when the order had been shipped.

About 2 weeks had gone by and I had not received a shipment email. I reached out to the company via email to verify that they had received my order. They said that, due to the large size of the order, it could take a week or two extra to ship the watches. They had also given me the choice to cancel my order with a full refund. I decided to be patient and wait on the order. 3 more weeks had passed and I still hadn’t received any shipment confirmation. I reached out to them again and received an email a few days later (this time signed by “Dee”) that my order had been placed under “urgent status” and that I should receive a shipment confirmation shortly. Again I waited.

Around July 10th (8 weeks after my initial order), I had gotten very antsy and worried that I was being scammed. Beyond that, I was worried that, if my order was to be shipped soon, it would be delivered while I was out of town on vacation, running the risk that the package would be stolen. I had emailed them a 3rd time…

I had not heard a response until my 2nd to last day on vacation (July 27th). My first order was FINALLY SHIPPED. I was excited, but still had reservations that this was a scam. However, I received the first order this morning, July 31st! There were no missing watches or broken faces. Everything seems to be in order. My second order should be here within a few days as well. Patience payed off!

I’m guessing that since it is both a small company (less than 10 employees), and that they may have received a high volume of orders due to their sale, they had trouble getting all the watches made with their resources (or wherever they make them), which delayed shipments. I spent over $125 on my orders (the deals were too good to pass up), and I was on edge while waiting, but they finally arrived! I haven’t tried any on, but they all look nice, professional, and functional. I can breathe easy!

Though the wait is a huge pain and the suspicions are viable, the company still delivered the watches and the product isn’t crap. I bought a couple watches in hopes that I could gift a few to some relatives and I still plan to do so without the embarrassment that I got scammed with bad watches or no watches. Just be patient, this ended up being legit!

Made a purchase on the 14th of may order number 4733CW and have yet to receive even an order confirmation. I reached out to the company at 720-712-2670 and was advised that my order had been reviewed by a supervisor and would ship immediately as of June 17th, I hadn’t heard anything a week after so I contacted the company again and was provided with a partial refund of 15.00 out of a 50.00 purchase. Since this I have not received my order, a confirmation email, or even a response back from the company. It’s now been over a month with no communication from this company and I know the watches aren’t coming, but if this will help someone else to not trust this company then it will be worth it.

Carrnegie Watches was first introduced to me through an Instagram Advertisement on my newsfeed on social media. The business stated that they are going out of business therefore their watches being offered prices were drastically reduced. At the time I was still a bit hesitant that the prices are too good to be true and that it may be a scam but surprisingly from youtube reviews of the watches offered, the watches and reviewers then seemed legit to me. After identifying some watches that attracted me I then placed an order totaling a cost of $74.50 on May 15th. At this time I was also informed through email that the business will be closing soon but will remain open 30 days after to take care of all customer's orders with the business officially closing on June 15th. Three to four weeks have gone by and I have not received a notification of my order being shipped or received a tracking number therefore I reached out to the customer support email on June 3rd and inquired regarded the status. I was then greeted with a wonderful email from the scammer that my watches will be treated as an urgent order and "will not be waiting any longer". I felt comfort in this message at the moment and trusted it but days and days proceeded and yet still no tracking information or update from the business was sent to me. What's even more conflicting is that the support lines must have closed already because the business stated they will only operate 30 days after June 15 (their official close date) and it is now July 18th. Since the last email interaction, I have been adamant in trying to reach an answer for my watches but have not heard a response since.

Today I have scoured the internet for answers to try to reach a point of contact for these watches but have found no success but surprisingly when I stumble and search the business through the BBB, the business attached with it is "ZJP Consulting" populated with the following information:

ZJP Consulting

1653 Lititz Pike Ste 2036

Lancaster, PA 17601-6507

Get Directions

https://ZJPconsulting.com

(800) 345-7154

Upon further review and searching of the consulting website on google, I have found they have also made another similar model of scams with other watches on a previous website called "Woodwelt Watches" where numerous customers have complained online of not receiving their purchases or received damage products or mislead on what they have purchased. I am now in a position where I can't get back my purchase or my watches therefore I want to at least inform you all so you can investigate further and shut down whatever operations these individuals are partaking in to protect all consumers. Thank you.
