I received a text from this man would said he was with Carrington Mortgage ( But I assume he also using other mortgage company names also). He stated that my property was going to be foreclosed on to call him asap. I called him and he said that he was with the loan modification dept. and that my payments were being reduced to $450.00 per month but that I had to pay a down payment of $953.00 right now in order to start this process. I told him I was going to call my mortgage company first and that I would get back with him. When I called Carrington Mortgage they told me it was a scam. His number in 443-229-2982.

DON'T FALL FOR THIS. NO MORTGAGE MODIFICATION WILL ASK FOR A DOWN PAYMENT!!!!
