I was contacted by a person claiming to be from my counties sheriff's department and that he needed to set up either to my house or employment "papers" for action from a firm and gave me the "firms" number to contact. I contacted the number talked to a man and he stated it was from 2015 Cash Net, and asked if I recalled and had given me correct information on me except an email address I had never had. Supposedly, said he asked the creditor for a settlement and it would come out the next day and I would receive a paid in full letter in email. None of this occured and I tried to call back and at first said voicemail has not been set up and then I call again and the voicemail is a man and all it says is you have reached the lawfirm. A business would not use a voicemail nor have a message as simple as that. I am afraid of being out money soon for no reason.
