In October 6, 2017 in Benicia I was Scammed with obligation to deliver possession of unit. Obligation for landlord under landlord-tenant low is to deliver possession of the unit to the tenant. Unit must to be ready to move to the tenant to the move in date that was specified on the lease agreement. In my situation landlord scam me with lease agreement and on the date of moving day for renting, the unit was not available (no repairs was made, no electricity, no keys was provided, landlord was not available to answer the phone or text messages).I'm pursue legal action against the Scammer landlord for failure to honor the lease agreement on the date that was specified on the lease agreement. He must to pay me back my fist and last month amount that I was provided. I pay to the movers twice. And emotionally it was very difficult to handle.
