The scammer texted my number about a job search that I had done recently on careerbuilder.com. They said that my resume came up when they were searching for employees. She said her name was Mrs. Renee Cannon from the company Carina biotech limited and for the job position Data Entry. She had stated in the text message to reply back if interested. Immediately I felt as though I knew this was a scam, but I followed through with a text. She then wanted to set things up for an interview, through skype. I did not think anything of it being that covid happened, and that is how many companies are proceeding in hiring others. So, we get on skype, but she's ends up messaging me. I was wondering why not video, that is what skype is for. She'd asks you a series of questions and puts you on hold for a bit to contact her HR manager for the next step, if hired. She tells me that the position responsibilities are and how much you would make which were 30 an hour. mon-fri. from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. She tells me that I am hired. Sends me via email the employment offer form to sign. As I shouldn't have but I did. Since she had me verify my address information already. I am in belief that this is real. I did offer her two references as well with phone numbers. But I am feeling um easy about the whole thing.
