Scammers! Got charged $28.95 instead of $1.00! CHASE sent me FRAUD ALERT!

The agreement looks like you are paying $1.00 for a report on your car. However, you are charged $28.95! We received a text moments after I agreed to the $1.00. "Chase Fraud: Did (my name) charge $28.95 at VEHICLE HISTORY on 8/07? Reply YES or NO."
We replied NO and my credit card was instantly closed down! Clearly, Chase has had problems with VEHICLE HISTORY in the past to send me a fraud alert. Now, I have to update all my auto payments relating to my card! To say that I'm angry is an understatement! Do not do business with this company, you will be sorry. It is also known as Carhistory.online.com

I found a used car I wanted to buy from a personal party and wanted to check the vehicle identification number to check the history of the vehicle. The site said it was free and then asked if I would pay a $1.00 fee to support their business. I agreed to the $1.00 and entered credit card and were charged $18.95 and later $1.00. I called to register a complaint and was told it is a reoccurring monthly charge of $18.95!! I canceled and requested to speak with a manager for they illegally charged me an amount I did not authorize - the phone representative said it would be a 35-40 minute wait to speak with a manager. I hung up and googled the company and saw many complaints exactly like mine. I feel mislead and scammed! Scammer who emailed me is Andy Wright.

We went to the site to try to get more information on a vehicle we had recently purchased. It said the report would be free. Once we entered the car information, it said it was collecting the report. When it came back, it said we would need to pay $1 for the processing of the report. This sounded strange but we went ahead and put in our account number. We got an email saying the report was ready and to go to a website to sign in and that my login name would be my email address but did not mention a password. I go to log in and it wants a password I don't have. I call and the person resets the password for me and I log in but the report is not there. It says it will take about 5 minutes to process. It never showed up. I did the chat thing and told them the report had not come up. That person said they were referring me to another person, Mike, and he would email me with what I needed. That email never came. Then I check my bank account and it was charged for $18.95, not $1.00 as the website said. I called back and they have supposedly issued me a refund. I will see if that happens and report back.

Website clearly states $1.00 for car history. When the charge came thru they charged $1.00 plus as additional $18.95 (to be a monthly charge) for future car history reports. Website reads as if it is an official Georgia site and there was nothing I saw about this extra charge.

We were told the price was $1.00. Within 10 minutes he charged $1.00 to my account and then charged $18.95 immediately after. This was never mentioned during the chat.
