Literally everything that everyone else has said is the EXACT SAME experience I have had. It’s most definitely a SCAM. Don’t be fooled and don’t give them any info.

They had a somewhat sketchy interview via Microsoft Teams ( https://teams.live.com/l/invite/FAAfUj7jVluyVbVXQI ), with a Mr. Matthew Aragon. All conducted via Chat -- no video, no audio. Long, unexplained pauses between their messages, and their English was a bit stiff, as if the person I was chatting with was not a native English speaker. They pretty much ignored any ad hoc / off-the-cuff questions I expressed.

Otherwise, very much the same as the other reported scam with the same company. I did not provide any PII because I checked the internet first for indications it was a scam before doing so.

I applied for a position of a data entry clerk from the job website adzuna. The next day I got a text with some questions about the work flexibility. I was then given instructions on how to interview using Microsoft Teams. On this chat, I was made to wait for about 3 hours, after which the user Douglas gave spaced responses, each with about a 20-30 minute delay. 15 Questions were asked with a requirement to type done afterwards.

One of these questions was odd, asking about the bank I use and my credit limit. I refused to answer. I was then forwarded to an email conversation, and asked to send certain details to another cc'ed email after confirming I am interested in the position.

The next day, I was told the hiring team approved, and then told the hiring process would take 7-10 days. I was then sent a checklist of what to expect. One of which included access to office supplies. This list seems like a very obvious copy and pasted chat gpt prompt. It listed equipment and subscriptions a company would need (in the thousands of dollars) rather than a regular onboarding with email access and IT onboarding. This was where I decided to research the account name and found these entries.

Applied to the job on the Hirey app. Was immediately contacted by a Jessica Campbell. She asked me to log into Microsoft Teams. There I was connected to Mr. Douglas Miller. One thing I noticed was that his user name was "Carwell Inc" Some of his messages were contained minor errors and the language was just a little bit off. I looked at his profile on microsoft teams and his email was listed as [email protected]. The interview questions seemed legit enough until they wanted to know who I banked with and if I had any credit cards as well as with whom and what my credit limit was. I then came here to look it up and lo and behold I find another person reporting the same Mr. Douglass Miller. I looked at the website link he sent and on the "join our team" page they were asking for a full SSN.

An SMS text was sent to me with respect a remote Data Entry job. I was then directed to Microsoft teams for an interview with Douglas Miller. Head of hiring. I was given a 95% grade on my answers. A subsequent message detailed the benefits and salary - $26/hr. He subsequently asked for personal identifying information. I then told him of my suspicions, and he replied that I had no evidence and 'should treat others as I would love to be treated'. The telling signs were the grammatical errors, imperfect sentence construction and obvious lack of knowledge of organizational structure e.g. 'Company's Secretary's Dept'. Another tell was the misalignment of the names with photos of persons in the management Team on the Company's website.. Some females were assigned male names and vice versa. The time of the interview also was suspicious as it was after regular office hours.

That was the text I received .i asked how i knew they were legitimate and he sent me the website that I posted on the previous page. As unprecedented to the website to do the application , it asks for my name , phone #, address, birthday, and ssn. That’s when I stopped and told him I was no longer interested.
