I got an email about working as a remote video editor. They had me use Microsoft teams for communication. They conducted an "interview" through text using teams and then the following day they had me do a phone interview. The person I talked to called me through teams and asked about my experience and offered me the job, all this happened within three days. I receieved word from them that I would need to buy a phone and a tablet that they would reimburse me for but I became hesitant as this all felt too good to be true. I researched the three names they used, Chloe Cox, Darleen Regal, and Nicolas Ryan. I tried googling these people to find a linkedin but no such account existed. I did a reverse google image search on the profile picture for Ryan and found it to have come from a Real Estate Agent. I never provided them my bank information or bought anything but I know I was about to be scammed.
