Person texts with a 203 number with the name Benjamin ***** offering a job opportunity for Data Entry Assistant at $25.70 an hour. Made the mistake of answering interview questions and then was told a day later I got the job. Hours later the person asks for immediate deposit to be able to start work as soon as possible. I became suspicious here, discussed with a family member and saw when I said I cannot afford it the person still insisted I send whatever I can. I went to the suspicious website to find contact information, got one for the rumored location Easy Drive or so who said this was a scam job. I tried calling the person posing as *********. The person did not answer. I blocked them on Microsoft Teams and deleted the email containing personal information and blocked them there as well.
