These people found me on Careerbuilder job site, they stated they found my resume and had a job that they thought my resume would be good for. It was for Chubb Corporation and they we’re hiring for a data entry position any they were urgently hiring. They asked if I was interested and I replied yes and they wanted to interview me that day. I said yes and it would be via zoom which is common. However, it was on zoom via chat. I should have known but I didn’t question because I verified the company via glass door and it appeared to be legitimate. So the interview was conducted via the chat and the asked questions that was common with interviews, after that process they then offered me the full time position and stated that a stipend would be provided for equipment. After accepting the offer they sent over the w4 form job offer letter, I had to provide on the w4 my name address and ss# as well as a picture front and back of my license. The contact was Kristen Lusterio who I checked on LinkedIn and her profile didn’t have a picture but appeared legitimate. So I received a check for $3950 from another company, I asked why it was different I was told it was an affiliate company, they asked for proof of the deposit. I asked was I purchasing my equipment thru Best Buy and buying the insurance? I was then advised that I needed to pull the money and send to their contractor named Tiffani H send the money to her via Zelle or cashapp. I advised them I don’t have so they said send via money gram I have attached a screen shot. I kept getting questions about the check and withdrawing the money. My bank ran the check and it was returned as altered and fraudulent. At this point I blocked them on zoom. They then threatened me by texting me on my phone. I blocked them as well and told them I was reporting them to the BBB.
