I was texted a job offer through allwhere, inc for a data entry position. Did the job interview through microsoft teams. Got a job offer letter. I then sent w-2 and driver's license info with a signed copy of the business expectations. The point of contact for the company was Joseph Anderson and the only way I could call was via microsoft teams. He then asked me for upfront money to send the necessary equipment to do my job. I declined to send any money upfront and he kept pressing for me to pay shipping fees.
