Same thing happened to me. I went to the .org address, they said it would cost $1, and now I am getting charged $18.95 from the cardatarecords.com website. I got on their chat and someone indicated they would be issuing a refund, but I am very leary about that. My credit card company said wait to see if the refund goes through and if not, dispute the charge.

Went to this website looking for a free vehicle history report. The website advertised their service for free but after going through the steps and entering information I was brought to a screen that required credit card information to continue. The site said that the vehicle history report was $1. This was very frustrating but I was in a hurry so i decided to pay the dollar. Now there are two $19 charges on my credit card from them after the $1 charge. Currently disputing with Visa.
