I met Robert "Bobby" Carr at the airport. While waiting on a delay flight, we discussed me entering into the real estate field. Robert claimed he was a real estate consultant/ real estate project manager who could mentor me and help me get into the real estate field. He said I could invest in a single family property ,but for me to start he needed a minimum of $30,000. On my behalf, he filled out 2 loan applications from 2 different banks for the initial $30,000 investment. Without my knowledge, he fraudulently applied for a car loan for 1 of the loans. In addition, I gave him the check from the bank without my signature. He forged my name on the check and deposited into a bank. We have a written contractual agreement acknowledging the terms of my investment. However, Robert has cashed the check and is no where to be found.
