I received an employment offer from a company claiming to be Sysco. They were offering $500 to add the Sysco logo to my vehicle. They asked for my name, address, and vehicle information.

I responded to an ad on a job site while job hunting, and found an email from the company, asking questions about said position.The very next day a check and letter came from Fed Ex. The instructions were that I was to deposit the check, withdraw $700 for the job, and then send the rest to an installer who would come to my residence to apply the advertisement to my car. They wanted the check left in the account 24 hours prior to sending the amount authorized for the job to their person. The email address was very sketchy-looking totally. (The email was [email protected])

I picked up my mail today and received a priority mail envelope that had a check for $3,087.00 in it and a paper to call the number and the money would clear. All i had to do is display a log on my car, which wasnt in the envelope and the money is mine. There's alot of scams in my area so I looked it up and thank goodness your website came up with this information. Thank you so much for posting this or they would have gotten another one.

They emailed all of the students some how at my college and Offered an opportunity to make $650 a week of course I reached out thinking that this was legit they overnighted me a check and that’s when things seemed fishy they asked if I would get an iTunes gift card with the remaining amount of money.

A check for 3950 was received and I was to deposit in my bank and when cleared I was to take 2950 and pay a company to car wrap advertising my car. I realize it's a scam and asked my bank to stop the deposit. I know I will be charged an nsf fee

Received a text message inviting me to apply for car wrap advertising for Mountain Dew. Promise to pay $500/week. Check received $1956.98. Check to cover initial weekly payment and cost of decal installation. Instructions were to deposit check in my account and to send photo of deposit slip to 707 654 4620.

They sent this check and gave instructions to cash it within 24hrs it was sent UPS stated for him to keep 700.00 from the 3,990.99 check and the rest would be used to pay the installer to wrap his car for advertisement and that they would send 700 a week plus a 200 amazon gift card to wrap the car for 10 weeks..once the check was deposited they wanted my husband to email and text the deposited slip to the email address and phone number and then they would send the instructions on who he would need to go to to get the car wrap

Received a letter with a check to get decals put on my car for Axom Enterprises out of AZ.

I received a text asking if I wanted to promote Aquafina on my car. They have a picture of my Ohio Drivers License. They mailed me a check for $3650.45. The return address was from Idaho. I deposited the check. He is blowing up my phone calling and texting, telling me to withdraw the funds and send them to him via Zelle. I told a co-worker, and she told me to report it to ScamPulse.com and call my bank.

I assume this is a phishing scam design to get you to click on the link and provide bank account information. I selected that the scammer did not attempt to take money, because I did not click on the link, but I’m assuming that’s what happens if you do.

About a month ago, I got a text offering me a chance to wrap my car for Lays Potato chips from David Lucas at 218-545-3716. I received checks from FedEx. I've copied the checks. I've lost $32,000. I've filed a police report.

I was looking for a job online. I got an offer to wrap my car. I kind of ignored it. Then a check arrived from FedEx for $3976.60. The check was written on a business account called Mocap. The letter says stuff like "Immediately upon receiving" etc. It's signed by Brandon Sanderson, Auto Wrap Campaign Manager.

I submitted some information to get paid weekly to advertise a decal on the side of my car. They sent a check for under $2000. I have not deposited it because I have been involved in fraud recently and this sounds similar. Also, I took the

check and had it looked at, by a bank as well as check cashing, and was told it's a fake.

A man by the name of Richard Pearson reached out to me and told me I could get involved with his business and make a lot of money. He claimed to do car wraps and driving for baskin robins. He mailed me a check, which I cashed in an empty bank account, because it seemed to be fake. It was, and I just dont want anyone to be tricked by this man. I looked him and his number up online and everything on google shows that he has scammed people before.

Check came ($1,950) in advance for car wrap services. Wanted consumer to send back a portion of check for wrap and install.

I got a text on my phone saying to email them to get a vinyl car wrap on my car. They would pay me $300 dollars a week. The email they used is [email protected]
