Received a check of $4,950 supposedly issued by Safe 1 Credit Union in Bakersfield CA 93311 sent via UPS. It is for me to wrap my car with an ad. $2,950 was to cover the cost to wrap my car and $2,000 was supposed to be payment to me. I was told to first call 702-213-4256 once I deposit the check. "WCOHO Machine Shop" was the listed business name on the check, but I was in touch with Car Wrap Program. My bank said it is likely a scam. ScamPulse.com gave me the phone number for Safe 1 Credit Union in Bakersfield CA listed at NCUA website. I called the number and I was advised by Safe 1 Credit Union that the check is bogus.
