Scammer set up a fake auto dealership and fake auto transport offering free delivery along with a fake tracking # once down payment was met online thru cash app or chime and upon delivery documents will have to be sign depending on weather financing or cash on delivery was established. unfortunately i tried to settle the whole payment online totalling 4k since vehicle vin# check out and car was not stolen. The scammer requested another 4k in fees thru the fake auto transport company claiming there were fees to be met for insurance purpose and city clerk fees and registrations fees, all an elaborated scam well planned to get more money all sent to one person who apppeared to be playing the role of two separate individuals.

I was contacted by the individual concerning a vehicle I have listed for sale on KSL.com in their classifieds. He told me he was interested in the vehicle, and asked if I would provide him with a "DV Report" He identified himself as Harry Martin, and gave me the website dataclearvin.com to order the report. KSL.com warns listers to avoid this scam, and to include a carfax report with the listing. I followed this advice, and when I sent the information on the carfax to his number, I received an automatic response "Sorry, this service is not available."
