I got an alert on my computer saying they are from Microsoft and notifying me that I have a threat on my computer. They lock your computer so you cannot advance. They say they will clean it for you and remote in on your computer. They scan your computer for $400 and then send you to the security dept to sign up for a plan. They ask you to write out a check and while they are still remoted on your computer they have you hold the check up so they can take a photo of your check. I had a bad feeling about them the next day and I called the bank and froze the account. Capital Network Solutions called my number the next day to see how my computer was working, I told them I felt they were scammers and that I canceled the check. They became snotty and told me I had to cancel the long term plan but had to pay for they “work” they did. I told them to cancel and hung up. I am receiving calls from their billing dept now saying I owe them money and they will send me to collections. These guys are scammers and they sound very professional and look very professional. I spoke with Best Buy Geek Squad and verified what I had thought, they were scammers. I had my computer then cleaned and hardware removed by a reputable company and was told to ignore further contact with Capital Network Support. I wanted to report this to help someone else.
