Was contacted by phone and message left that I had a complaint filed on me and was going to be served papers. It was a robot sounding message left on my home and cell phone and said I needed to call immediately. I did call back and spoke to a Michelle and she said that I had a payday loan from 2012 for the amount of $400 that she was trying to collect on. I told her that I had no recollection of such and she then said she we representing the original institution that was Compass Capital. When I ask for their phone number or contact info she said she was not authorized to give out information. She knew my personal information and was very convincing and said that if I could pay entire balance she could give me a discount. I asked for her direct line and extension so that I could call her back. She was reluctant to give it to me and said that she would not be there tomorrow. This is a scam@!!! Please help stop this. I am worried because she had my personal information.
