Saw an African grey parrot on the website that we were interested in purchasing. Put our info in as prompted by the website and received a text back from Tim. Via text he gave us info about the bird and said he would need to ask us a few questions. We asked that he call us and he did. He told us that he ships birds all over the world. He guaranteed their health and that the birds were all hand fed, tamed and DNA sexed. The price of the bird was $700 with $150 shipping fee. He accepted payment through Zelle. He then asked that I text him our contact info and gave us the email to wire the payment. I made payment through Zelle $850 on Sat. March 27th. He asked for a snapshot of the payment, but I informed him that my bank would not allow a snapshot. I then sent him a picture of my phone screen showing the Zelle payment. It showed as pending, so he would not ship the bird until payment was confirmed. On Mon March 29th I called my bank and it was confirmed that the payment went directly into their bank account on Sat March 27th. Tim insisted that it did not. After I expressed that I was feeling like I had been scammed, he cut off all contact not answering our phone call, texts or emails.
