Someone fraudulently charge a membership to Canva using my Debit Card. When trying to contact the company to cancel the charge and get a refund, discovered that there was NO way to contact the company unless I setup an account. Since I was trying to cancel a fraudulent account, I did not want to setup another account. The company appears to be in Australia and they do not have any customer support phone numbers or emails listed on their website. We spent an hour searching for a way to contact them and could not find a way to do so. The company appears to allow individuals to easily make fraudulent purchases and then makes it impossible to contact the company to cancel or get a refund.
Placed an order on Canva. They cancelled my order a week later but said was going to be reprinted. Deleted the order from my account so I couldn’t track the progress. Said it is being processed, no refunds. Nearly a month later they admitted it was never even processed.

Type of a scam:Online Purchase
Hi there,
Reporting an on-going scam with the business Canva in addition to their lack luster customer service response and inability to resolve. I cancelled a paid Canva Pro subscription in 2020. Then from January 2021-June 2021 my Canva Pro subscription was somehow re-activated or had been unsuccessfully deactivated and I was actually then double-charged (2x monthly payments) for six months (January-June). I was not using the service because I thought I had cancelled but finally noticed the issue in my banking statements when doing some accounting. I reached out to Canva about the issue and to request a full refund on all charges. They responded to offer me a refund on one single monthly charge and then proceeded to tell me they had no record of my being double-charged, nor explanation for how my account re-activated. They also asked for proof on my end with banking statements to show them the charges. I provided copies of my banking statements. Then they asked me to convert that information onto an excell spreadsheet for some odd reason so they could view it itemized? I provided that. They then passed me "up the chain" to someone who would get back to me about my refund request and I never heard back.
At that time my only recourse was re-cancel the Canva Pro subscription, which I did. I then removed my credit card information from my account so they could not use it. I just went the past six months without any issue and I have just yesterday for January of 2022 been charged again for a Canva Pro monthly subscription. I DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW THEY CAN DO THIS WHEN MY BILLING INFORMATION IS BLANK IN MY ACCOUNT. At this point I am assuming they have been hacked or their billing system has a fatal error that no one at Canva is aware of or willing to admit. I wiil be placing a block on all Canva related charges with my banking institution tomorrow. I just reached out to Canva customer service again this evening so I am hopeful to at least have someone look at this. Once I've had some kind of response from them through their email-only customer service system (no phone number!!! so you have to maintain an online account) and hopefully a refund (if they'll even admit the issue) I will be closing out my account. I WILL NEVER USE CANVA PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AGAIN. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PAYMENT INFORMATION. This could happen to you too. Beware.
