I am not even proceeding with this weird company. They were on a job site called Jobcase stating that they have a payroll officer position that pays $921 weekly. That post in itself sounds fishy to me. Still, I am the type of person who takes chances. So I responded to the post and immediately started to receive text messages back at 10 pm on a Saturday, which was red flag number 1. In my post, I specifically asked for more information about the job and a website. I like to do research on any work at home company I am thinking about joining. The recruiter named David Christopher completely ignored my request and just texted the name of the position again and told me about the interview section where I would be asked a few questions and after my entry is approved then I would start training. In my mind, I'm like fine. I will go on the interview and then get more info about the position and website address. That never happened. David Christopher proceed to send me application questions that are not interview questions. Are you a US citizen? Are you free from drugs and felony? The word should be felonies but honestly, that is how he spelled it. I and the type of person if you like it I love it so I just rocked with it. Last but not least, do you have a work reference? Was indeed the final question to gauge if I am acceptable enough to talk to. He then said I was approved to be transferred to the online supervisor for an interview and then training and asked do I want to proceed. I said yes then he asked if I have WhatsApp because that is the company's operational app. I think this was red flag number three. It's pretty obvious the application questions were red flag number 2, but I am explaining too much nonsense. Most work-at-home company interviews are on Zoom or Zoom-like platforms. Not a WhatsApp. When I have interviews from Indeed it is done on the Indeed platform. So going to WhatsApp is very suspect to me. Still, this is just my experience. I do feel like this company is a scam so don't go unless you rather enjoy sharing your identity with folks for no reasonable self-gain. That's not my thing. I am just skipping out on the interview portion completely, the phone texting just left a bad taste in my mouth. And not to say that work-at-home jobs don't text you to set up interviews. It does happen, but never will they not send you information once asked. It is the norm to send a link to the company website while setting up a time to interview in the text on a zoom-like platform. Any Google or WhatsApp interviews avoid like it is the Coronavirus.

An individual reached out to me for a work from home data entry job. It started out pretty legit. Saying they would pay for training and supply with materials needed for the job. They even offered to pay my phone bill. By the end of the conversation they asked for my sign in info for my cash app saying they would deposit the funds needed. Before they did ...they asked if I could afford a 100 dollar steam gift card to put towards the company . They were going to deduct 100 from my bank account and overdraft me . Trying to get my banking info. And access to my cash app account.

Someone posted on Raleigh Side Jobs on facebook that they had a job working with a medical marijuana company for 20 per hour. I responded and was given an email address and a job code id#. I was told to Google chat to speak to a hiring manager. The person asked me a few question and then began an interview with mostly normal questions. Then they asked about my bank account and credit card information and said they would “help” pay them off. This was a big red flag. When I asked questions about why they needed that information, they said so they could have me use that To buy my supplies. I stopped talking to them and told them I was not interested. They are a scam! Don’t fall for it!

Job offer to work from home with good pay. Everything seemed legit until they wanted me to get a steam wallet card. When I questioned this and stated that it’s a gaming card they said that this is how you log into the portal. They wanted the scratched off code. I never bought the card. I kept asking for more information and felt I was getting the run around. The website looked legit but they could just be using it as a front. They also said they would pay all my debts off. Please be aware and if it doesn’t feel right walk away.
