I was trying to ship an oversized package containing a speciality vehicle part. Since I had several interested buyers, I was looking for shipping quotes to various locations around the world, domestic and international. The "company" in question provided the best rate by far with home pickup. So, once I secured a buyer who was willing to commit to the purchase (considering that shipping cost is still expensive for such a large item), I asked Canada Logistics how to process payment. They told me to send the $561 as an e-transfer. Weird. When I communicated I prefer an accredited method of payment, such as Paypal or major credit card, as any other serious company would use, they outright refused. They insisted that e-transfer is the only way to pay. Since this was incredibly suspicious, I made a post inquiring about the "company" in a local neighbourhood Facebook community group, and nobody had heard of them. Someone also pointed out that they are not registered with Industry Canada, and that their website domain is registered to an individual, not a corporation. I even visited their listed address, and it's for a totally different business. Additionally, all 4 of their Google Maps reviews at the time were written around the same time, from accounts with 1 to 2 total reviews, and they all sounded incredibly similar to each with all the same syntax errors. The "company" claims they have been in business for 10+ years and yet they only had 4 reviews (at the time)? Plus their ScamPulse.com listing was self-made and shows that they have only been in business for 3 years. I luckily chose to disconnect contact with them and ended up shipping my package with *****. After trying to warn others from falling prey to this scheme, Mirza Junaid, the owner of this page, not only emailed me but also called me to try to threaten to report me to the RCMP for supposedly trying to use a stolen credit card. Basically, he harrassed me because I called them out for being a fake company.
