I was informed that I had overpaid tax for 2021 and that I was going to receive an etransfer from CRA. I did click start now and was led to a fairly official looking service Canada site. First thing I had to do was enter my SIN. I did not. I instead scrolled down the page but it seemed kind of short(?). Idk, seemed not right. After reexamining the email, I noticed INTERAC was spelled INTETAC and I don't ever recall getting an etransfer from the CRA in the past, only direct deposits.

I apologize if this was mislabelled as identity theft in case it was another type of scam.
