The phone rang. I was expecting several return calls as my husband just passed away. I answered Hello, ...no one, then I said without thinking...Yes? . Then he said "can you hear me". I immediately disconnected, but I had already said Yes. Is there anything I can do to prevent them charging me with something?

I received a phone call Friday January 27th, 2017 and the female voice said that she dropped her headset and asked if I could hear her. I replied yes. She said that I had recently visited one of their resorts (I have not been to a resort) and that I "won" a Bahamas vacation. I then hung up. I was told by my daughter last night over dinner that news reports have said that this is some kind of scam that records your yes answer to get you to purchase something.

The caller said, "Hello? and waited and I said, "yes" and she said "oh sorry, my headset fell off" and she preceded to tell me I won a vacation.

I heard about this scam on my local news station and I wanted to report the phone number. It came through on my cell phone.

I called my bank immediately and so far nothing has happened. I will continue to monitor my accounts.
