The Campus Forgiveness Program of 2016, was made by recently passed legislation for the purpose of aiding individuals with large amounts to pay back to the federal government from going to college.
To get into this program, a person must not be taking classes this semester and if they are employed, it greatly boosts their probability of qualifying. They also need to be carrying a balance of at least eleven thousand dollars to be considered for acceptance.
After a person’s eligibility is confirmed and they choose to sign up, they can obtain either a decrease in their amount owed or complete discharge of the total from history. The amount is derived based off of a person’s family size and occupational description.
