Got text from same number 407-985-8987 wanting to buy my car. Gave me a North Carolina drivers license 000005315653 James Whitfield McGuire. Caller wanted banking info for wire transfer.

Had personal camper listed on a camper sale website. Scammer texted my personal number which is listed on the ad and said he would pay the full price. He mailed a check in the full amount plus shipping fees that he said I could pay when the transport company arrived to pick the camper up. He sent the check overnight. Luckily i emailed the banks fraud team with pictures of the to verify it was a legitimate. They came back and said it was not.
