I sent a Canon 77D last year around April 2021 for repair. They increased the amount they estimated and I still paid because I had just purchased my camera and only used it once. Plus it was the only place claiming to be able to repair a Canon 77D.The website said I also had to pay for shipping to the store for repair and they would pay for return shipping after the item has been fixed. Since the store is in the west coast and I’m located in the east coast I paid. They held my camera for over 6 months and sent it back STILL BROKEN. Within those six months I had to email and call about 10 times and deal with terrible customer service and flat out lies about how it was being fixed. They claim that they examine it prior to sending it back but I doubt they even picked it up to fix in the first place. I then sent it back and PAID FOR SHIPPING AGAIN. This time they kept it for another 3 months with no communication to me, ignoring my emails, and giving me excuses of “they can’t find the part” so I tell them to just send me back my camera and refund me my money and they say they can’t do that because they sent the camera out to Canon and all these excuses. For another 3 months I still have to call and email for more excuses and finally convinced them to send me back my camera with a full refund after threatening to sue. They send back my camera still not repaired and deduct the cost of shipping from the refund so instead of receiving the $264 I paid I received $223. I asked why they would only give me a partial refund especially after all they put me through and their website says they will pay for shipping back and the person I spoke to says the cost of shipping back is deducted because they weren’t able to fix the camera. This doesn’t even make any sense. Why am I paying for a camera you weren’t able to fix? This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I pray that this business doesn’t last and is shut down. They put me through so much this past year just to still receive a broken camera and a partial refund. The worst part is that because I paid with Zelle and not my bank directly I couldn’t even dispute the charge with my bank so I had to endure everything they did.
