The scammers have called multiple family members stating thy have a legal notice they are trying to serve on our mother (interestingly, they have never called her). The address they are allegedly serving at where no one is available to accept service is - wait for it - one of my prior employer's corporate offices. The name of the woman who left the messages on our phones is Mary Cortez. When I called back (blocking my number of course) the man that answered the phone became belligerent when I refused to give my name and then proceeded to recite my full social security number to me. He then threatened to call the police because I was harassing him - which I told him I'd stay on the line while he did it. He then called me names and cursed at me before hanging up. I called back several times - the first few times he'd answer and hang up. Then another woman answered who advised it was the "Callahan Litigation Group" based out of California but that they have multiple offices throughout the country and 60+ employees so there was no possible way she knew who I was/why I was calling. She challenged me about the messages - which I saved and played for her and asked her if she knew Mary Cortez - which she said she did and she would have her call me if I wanted - clearly not. I tried to ask more questions but she also became belligerent and hung up on me. When I called again, another woman answered who said the name of the company was "Legal Admin Services" and when I asked what their address was she hung up on me too.
