I came across Caliva Weed while trying to purchase a bar of edible chocolate and three vape cartridges for $194.92. Per the website, orders would be delivered within 2-3 hours once the payment was confirmed. The website included reviews from Weedmaps to prove its legitimacy; however, the reviews do not link to the original posts. I placed my order on 27JAN2023 and contacted customer service for delivery. I received a response on 28JAN2023 requesting payment through Zelle. The business confirmed my payment and told me my order would be sent out. After a few hours had passed, I contacted the business inquiring about the delivery. I was told I must register under new state regulations and send my ID immediately. After sending a picture of my ID, I was told the registration fee costs an additional $400. I didn't receive a straightforward answer when I requested more information about these regulations. I attempted to cancel my order and get a refund, but I haven't heard back from the business.
