This company tried to scam my father by coming to the house and giving him an estimate of $1000 to fix a broken cable. My dad said, "No thanks" and the salesman then tried to tell my dad that the estimate would cost my dad $50. My dad told the man that he wasn't buying his worthless estimate. My dad then had the door repaired for less than $200 by a different company that did it in 20 minutes the same day. When I called the number of the company that my dad called, they answered and said that they are called Local Garage Door Repair Company under the umbrella Cali Garage Door Repair Inc. They said they don't have a store front and that they work out of their apartment. I believe the person that came out had no intentions of fixing the garage door, but rather wanted to scam my father out of $50. Either way, they're trying to take advantage of people.
