I was looking into purchase a pair of the blue fronted amazon parrots and I found this website "caliparrotsforsale.com" and decided to call them. They don't answer the call initially, instead your call goes to a voice that tells you to say your name and they will transfer your call. Then someone named Johson Gray send me a txt say that "I am sorry I miss your call", "How can I help you?". We texted back and forward first about the birds, and he sent me several pictures and I asked him that how I could verify that this was legit, and he convinced me that he had given me the store's address, so I without investigating more about them and with all the red flags like WhatsApp phone number, no reviews online, no Facebook account, and no other social media account, totally fell for it, and got scammed. They off course ask for deposit, and in order for them to hold the birds for you, they ask for a deposit of $150/bird, done by Zelle, Apple Pay, or Western Union, so for me was a deposit of 2 birds of a total of $300. The first Zelle transaction was to Adrian Pineda at (602) 877-9189 for $150, and because the Adrian account reach the limit, I was asked to send the other Zelle deposit of $150 to Izha Hodge at [email protected] both on April 13, 2022. On the next day April 14, 2022, the guy named Johson Gray again texted me saying that there at the store was a guy trying to buy my birds that I have already given the deposit and convincing me that I should Zelle another $100 in order for him to convince his manager that I was very interesting and did not want to lose birds. At first, I told him "NO" because I have already putted a deposit on the birds, and I was not going to give him more and if he insisted then I want my money back. He told me that I should understand that business is business and to please Zelle the $100 because he really wanted me to get the birds. So, once again, I fell for it and Zelle him another $100 to Maddison J Lilly at [email protected] on April 14, 2022. On the next day my husband and I drove to LA to 1901 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA 90057 US where I was supposed to pick up the birds. When I get to the Pet Source store on the above address, the manager of the store told me that I was not first person been scammed and that they have nothing to do with the website caliparotsforsale.com, and in fact, the store doesn't have a web page yet. Please be aware that this is only one in many of the website scamming people out there. I never in my life fell for any of these scams till this happened to me, I just have to say that to trust your instinct and don't get so blind when you are determined to obtain something. I am being wanted a pair of the blue fronted amazons for a very long time, but I never wanted to go online because I did not want to get scammed, and a friend showed me the website and I got complete blind and did not care to pay attention of all the red flags that I already knew to detect. I lost $400 and I hope that no one go through what I have gone through. Today again I was online, and I found another one that it is a scam, and it is on Face Book called Pet Bird Breeders "PET BIRD BREEDERS" Phone number: Text or Call: ??(469) 431-2238 and this one is about the same thing, and he even offer to pay for shipping for me, omg this is very sad please be extra careful. Thanks
