I was contacted by text to participate in spreading the word that Evian (water) is changing their logo. I would help by "wrapping" my car in the new product's logo and drive around town. The so-called payment sounded too good to be true but I replied anyway. Within days I received a USPS flat rate envelope with a letter in it with Evian's logo at the top and a copy write seal at the bottom. Also enclosed was a check for $2,600.00 and instructions on taking it to the bank for deposit using Zelle or Cash App; or getting a money order with very detailed instructions on how to distribute the funds. The letter was confusing, written very poorly, not professional at all and in some parts a bit threatening saying if I did not comply someone from the TASK FORCE Team would be sent to my address to retrieve the envelope.

I called Evian headquarters and confirmed that this was a scam and in no way affiliated with the company and to please report this scam to police and the BBB.
