California Fundings Inc. is a hard money lender. They approved me for 5k without any verifications of employment, ect. When I questioned that, the Loan officer said, if you do the "PPI" for $200, that is protecting me for the loan. They wanted me to go to any Walmart, Walgreens or Rite Aid to get a CIC card and call them back with the info on the card. Once they receive that info, they would wire the funds into my account. It made no sense to me. Along with calling Walmart and Walgreens, they never heard of such a card. I am glad I did not pursue with this company.
