I received a call that came up on my CID with "Calahan", with a number that showed 1-408-987-6304. No message was left on my answering machine, due to the fact I was on my phone at the time with a call I had received when this Calahan called. After further research on line, the area code came from San Jose, CA. I checked out the phone number online and after reading some of the reviews posted online under this phone number, individuals were saying that they were getting these calls and that a message was left on their machines, stating that they need to call 1-800-268-0307 number and talk to Matt Russel, the chief investigator, to resolve some past due debts....etc. If they didn't call back, legal actions would be taken and that their SS# could be suspended, along with all of their bank accounts and they also stated that they were a Law Office Investigators.

This places called me at 6:30a having all my information they said they were going to sue me for a car repossession from 2008, proceeding to threaten to sue me. They also said they were going to take my bank account, my income tax refunds, and garnish my wages. They were aggressive and strong armed me to the point I was in tears. Stating that I had over a $17,000 but would settle for $7000. If I didn't give them money and a promise to pay them that they would also put a lien on anything I owned and that no matter what they would win the case in front of a judge. Stated that they sent letters out to me in which I NEVER received. I don't even have this debt on my credit report. They had no remorse. I contacted a lawyer whom called to verify if the company was legit and he got back to me and stated after checking into it it was a scam.

This company has called my daughter on saturday september 8 2018 to tell her she owe a debt that i know was paid and kept telling us we got to pay this or go to court and jail if it not pays.
