They call me about 5 to 6 times a day from the number above or 1-844-661-8919 stating that i owe my job a pay day loan that i took out in the past for $300. This is something i never had done plus my job doesn't provide loans to their employees. They also continue to contact 3 family members on a constant basis even when they clearly explained to them that they have the wrong number. I tried to gather more information about there agency or company but the rep tries to change the conversation by continue to explain that i owe them money.

CAJ is a debt collection company who calls and says they will be suing ASAP if payment is not made over the phone by a credit card. The gave a website to view, but we could not view and data, which they keep saying they could view the info and couldn't understand why we couldn't. This was a call to a 47 yr. old, disabled man. It is a scam and I did contact the BBB.

A company calling themselves "CAJ" initates an automated call with an account number and gives your name. Once you talk to a person, usually speaking very poor or broken english, they ask you to verify your name, address, and last four of your SSN. They already have this information, so you can dance around and make them provide it.

They will tell you they are a mediation company trying to resolve a debt. In this case they are collecting a payday loan for Archway Holdings. Usually they will want you to settle this over the phone using a credit/debit card making a small payment to prove you are willing to settle this debt. They will give the date that the loan was taken out. When asked for contact information for Archway Holdings, they say they can't give out that information. When asked for proof of this "loan" and attempts to contact, they continue to say that the company has repeatedly sent letters to your home address. When asked for their address, the only information provided is that they are located in Miami, FL. They will also tell you that they can't provide anything to you in writing because they are a mediation company.

Once you get them talking in circles and get them confused or riled, they will tell you that their attempts have failed or that you are not willing to resolve the debt; and they will send all of your information back to Archway Holdings for them to take legal action against you. Other threats include: wage garnishment, vehicle reposession, levy against your assets, or arrest you.

Once you tell them that they are trying to scam you or call their bluff, they will usually hang up on you.

CAJ located in Miami Florida calling on behalf of SGQ limited saying i took a loan out in 2010 or before. They were unable to tell me the company name who I borrowed from they gave me five options then they said I either went in the store or did it by internet. They were also unable to tell me when the funds was transferred into my checking acct. Then they said they tried to retrieve the funds but was unable (indirectly saying i closed my acct. or changed my account number) this is not true. They had all my information phone # DOB SS# address and my job I don't know how they have this information but they have it. This is the second call in the past 5 months threatening me that I better get a good lawyer and my credit will be affected or my payroll check will be garnished.

A few months ago I started getting phone calls from a company called Costal w/ the number of 886-699-3850 re: a payday loan from 2012...I found out that this is a fraudulent company. Now I'm are receiving harassing calls from a company called CAJ w/ the number of 844-622-8179 and their telling me the same thing "We're a mediation company representing another company called Vista who has filed a grievance for non-payment on a loan from 2012 and that if you didn't pay ASAP, we'll take you to court and have your wages garnished." They had my info including the last 4 of my SSN# (which now has me super concerned about identity theft) and now, somehow, they're calling some of my family members, some who's contact numbers I don't have or whom I haven't made contact with in years!! When I asked them for their contact information, they said that they weren't allowed to provide me w/ that info or the info of they company trying to sue me. Please, try to find these people and SHUT THEM DOWN!!!
