This was a car wrap scam. He sent me a check and told me to deposit it into my bank account and pay the "installer" to wrap my car. I knew better than to deposit the check and send anyone money I had never met. So then he text me and threatened to call the FBI, lol. I told him to go ahead and call or I would. The first clue to it being a fake check was the company name and address on the check didn't match the company name and address on the envelope. 2 different states- 2 different company's. The company name on the envelope was the name of a legit business that had no connection to this. He just used their company name because they were legit and had good reviews. The envelope says it came from TX, the check says it came from WV. Someone needs to tell the guy he does very sloppy work, lol.
