CA Resolutions Reports & Reviews (5)

The call is automated that states that it is a final warning to defend yourself in a debt collection case before you are brough to court. The recording refers you to call another number with a case file number. When I called that number the operator answers "Processing" without giving any company name identification. When I asked that she give her company name, she replied nastily to me and asked why I wanted to know and refused to give me the company she was with. From what I know, if a company wants to take you to court, you have to be served with a subpoena in person.

The company says they are engaged in a lawsuit against you. They will not provide a website, email, or address.

I started receiving calls on 1/9/2019 from (254)863-1200 (Axtell, TX) saying I owed a debt. They said their name was CA Resolutions. They proceeded to call my mother, brother and both of my sons and told each of them that I had an unpaid debt with their "Plaintiff" and that either my legal council or myself needed to return their call and it was urgent! When I did call they insisted that I verify my Social Security number. When I refused I was informed to "GET A LAWYER BECAUSE I WILL NEED ONE" and then they hung up. So, I called back, several times, and each time they would hang up as soon as I started asking questions. At one point during one of the conversations a man (who wouldn't give me his name) told me that he had already contacted my employer and they were going to start GARNISHING my paycheck! What a whopper of a lie......I have been the Office Manager/Executive Secretary to the Owner of the company I work at for 18 years and the "supposed" call would have gone directly to ME!!! And because I also handle all human resources issues at my place of employment I informed the caller that the only way I would ever initiate a wage garnishment was with a COURT ORDER!!!! Well, he hung up again!!!! And of course, I called back, again!!! And again, and again!!!! Finally a woman who answered said I should speak with a supervisor, and I agreed! Well, after being on hold for 15 minutes I got a recording saying the person I was trying to contact was on the phone and I could leave a message.....but then the line went dead!!!!! Maybe tomorrow I will try calling them back, again, to see if we have an understanding to stop calling me and my family with this scam... :>) They just called again.....1/10/19.....and now they are THREATENING to call my employer again and will initiate an "Asset Report" with them to begin wage garnishments. They also said they will put a lien against my home and reposes my car and clean out my bank accounts and take my tax return! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Received a very threatening voice mail on my personal cell phone as well as my work number stating multiple claims were being processed on me today and that my address and business address were being verified. Stated I had the right to contact my plaintiff at 254 863 1200.  At no time was a name of the company nor the alleged claims identified. The first time I called the number back it went straight to a voice mail for someone named "Brandy". Again, no mention of a company name. I received another call today and called the number back again. I asked the man the name of the company he works for, he responded CA Resolutions. I advised him I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission about this phone harassment and threats. He asked if I wanted my phone number removed and I replied yes. Hopefully this will stop.

You are called and a robo voice lets you know that legal action has been taken against you and that you need to call back with you case number and verify your employment address and phone number. I received the call on behalf of a relative so I called back (5 times so far) and said that I was investigating the company and needed a company name which I received on the 2nd call (they hung up on me on the first call). They asked me repeatedly for my case number and I replied that I was calling on behalf of others, not myself and that I did not personally have a case number. At this point I was transferred and then hung up on when I repeated that I was just looking to find out what CA stood for and where the business was located on the 3-4 call. I called again and was transferred to a David Scott. Mr. Scott had already hung up on me once when I asked for the company name, but on the 5th call he asked me repeatedly for a case number to which I told him that I was calling on behalf of others and was simply investigating the company to get more information and he told me very rudely, "good luck with your investigation ma'am without a case number" and hung up on me again. I most of my final call, because at this point I was sure that it was a scam. A company would have no qualms giving you their name and contact info if they were legitimate.
