I received a form, which I thought it was from Secretary of State, when I transfer my sole proprietorship into an LLC late October/2021. I sent a check for the amount of $87.25 on 11/06/2021. The check was cashed by Brian Dairy on 11/17/2021 at Chase Bank. A few weeks later, reading reviews and searching for answer about the company, I knew it wasn’t from Secretary of State. What an [censored], I fell for this scam! Immediately, I called the company and spoked to Maggie on 12/07/2021. She was able to pulled up my LLC name. She stated she’ll put in a request for a refund and I should be getting a check in the mail a couple weeks. She gave me this number, 20212991051, to reference when I call. On 12/30/2021, I spoked to Julie to follow up on the status of the refund check because I didn’t see any check in the mail. She stated she don’t have my company’s name in the system but will put in the request again. I asked to speak to Maggie because she seems to know what is going on and able to pull up my company’s name. I was told she’s busy. On 01/04/2022, I spoke to Fred when asked to speak to Maggie. He stated she doesn’t work there and he couldn’t do anything but just put in a request. On 01/05/2022, I spoked to Lauren asking to speak to the manager. She transfer me to Carol. Carol stated she couldn’t find my business name or address or my name. I asked if I can have their email so I can send them a copy of the cashed check. She stated they don’t have an email. On 01/07/2022, I spoked to Clark asking to speak to Carol. He stated she is busy but they’ll send me a refund check via UPS. On 01/11/2022, I spoke to Fred to follow up about my check since I didn’t receive it via UPS. He stated he doesn’t know anything about it. On 01/27/2022, I spoked to Clark to follow up to see he can transfer me to the manager or the CEO or give me the company’s email. He stated he can’t give me the email or info because he doesn’t have access to those information but only can leave a message for the billing department.
