I was showed an apartment that I applied for and put down a $750 deposit down for on 680 Monroe Street. The people at the office kept pushing the move in date back since other people who applied were getting denied and the landlord wanted everyone on one lease. I then asked to get my deposit back via email and never got a response. I asked the realtor to give me locations of other places they had, he did and I kindly said I wasn't too happy with those and how long I would take if I were to wait for the original place I had put my despot down for. He then said that, that apartment had to pass city inspection because of the renovation. So, he basically showed me an unfinished apartment and had no problem taking my money before the apartment was even ready. I called the office numerous amount of times and no one would pick up. Finally a week later someone picked up and told me that, "that department" will get back to you asap, and to give it two days. I gave it two days and no one had gotten back to me, I called again and again, no one would pick up. Eventually days later a woman picked up and said the same thing.
